Nicole is the Director of Thriving Minds Therapy and a Clinical Psychology Registrar. She provides evidence-based interventions and comprehensive psychological and diagnostic assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. Nicole has worked across a range of settings, including private practice and non-government organisations

Nicole takes a collaborative, person-centred approach with her clients and their families. She believes that strong therapeutic relationships are a vital part of therapy and support meaningful, lasting change. She is known for her warm, authentic and accepting style.

Nicole has a particular interest in working with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, stress, adjustment challenges, depression, interpersonal difficulties, and trauma. She brings experience in supporting clients with AuDHD and PTSD, and is also experienced in conducting assessments for autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and intellectual developmental delay. Nicole is EMDR Trained.

As a board-approved supervisor, she provides clinical supervision to early career psychologists, provisional psychologists, and the Thriving Minds Therapy clinical team.


Carissa is a Clinical Psychology Registrar who offers evidence-based interventions and assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. She approaches her work with a collaborative and compassionate mindset, focusing on strengths-based therapy. As an empathetic and warm psychologist, Carissa is deeply committed to a client-centred approach, ensuring that each individual’s unique needs are prioritised.

With experience supporting clients across the lifespan, Carissa works with those experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioural and emotional difficulties, autism, ADHD, and trauma. She has particular experience in helping children, adolescents, and their families navigate complex mental health issues, as well as providing support for older adults in managing anxiety and depression.


Su Ngo is a registered psychologist and clinical psychology registrar with a diverse background in public settings, including the NSW Department of Education and community mental health. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, providing diagnostic assessments and evidence-based treatments as part of multidisciplinary teams.

Su takes a person-centred approach to therapy, working closely with clients and external stakeholders to help achieve meaningful goals. She has a particular interest in attachment disorders, anxiety, depression, behavioural challenges, and trauma, and she brings experience in working with Autism, ADHD, PTSD, and Complex PTSD. Su is also skilled in conducting assessments for Autism, ADHD, and intelligence.


Teresa is a registered psychologist with extensive experience providing evidence-based psychological interventions to children, adolescents, and adults. She is known for her compassionate and client-centred approach, fostering strong therapeutic relationships that support goal setting and build on individual strengths and needs.

Teresa has worked extensively with adolescents and young adults across non-government organisations and community mental health settings. She has a particular interest in treating anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and complex PTSD. In addition, she has experience supporting clients with eating disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder, and a range of other mental health concerns.

Amy is a Registered Psychologist who provides evidence-based treatment and assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. She takes a person-centred approach to therapy and has gained valuable experience across various settings, including private practice, out-of-home care, and non-government organisations. Amy has also led clinical teams in multiple non-government organisations, delivering therapy and behaviour support to individuals and families.

With a broad range of experience, Amy works with clients who experience challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, anger management, behavioural issues, and interpersonal difficulties. She has extensive experience supporting individuals with Autism, ADHD, and Intellectual Disability. Amy is deeply passionate about early intervention and advocating for neurodiversity. Her special interest lies in working with children and adolescents experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties, utilising a variety of assessment tools to support their progress.
